Our Story

Asian Industrial MRO parts supplier in North America

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree as a Mechanical Engineer in 1983, I embarked on seven years of learning about automation and controls; learning and crafting skills as a Programmable Logic Control Engineer for companies such as Foxboro Corporation (DCS Controls) and Gould Modicon, the founding company of PLCs. Working for Omron Electronics throughout New England in the late 80s, I worked inside many factories such as sardine canneries, ball bearing manufacturing, light bulb manufacturing to nails and staples factories learning the automation business along the way.

In August 1990 with two young children and a supportive wife, I resigned working for Omron Electronics and founded Integrated Control Solutions (ICS) as an authorized distributor working with Omron Electronics, Fuji Electric, Oriental Motor and Patlite to sell and support their products in your factories. The name Integrated Control Solutions conveyed the purpose of programming and keeping your factory integrated and running. I began traveling to Asia in 1994 first to Tokyo and Osaka Japan, then to Busan S. Korea, later on to Guangzhou China.

Many years later, Integrated Control Solutions now operates in the MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) replacement parts market. Our organization’s unmatched Asian market experience with industrial parts and logictics solutions, positions us as an industrial and commercial go-to partner.
